The Guyana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) will stage its annual general meeting this month -end.
According to a release from general secretary Godfrey Munroe, the GTTA will meet to elect a new president on July 31 at the Cliff Anderson Sports Hall, Homestretch Avenue, from 1pm.
The release stated that notice of motions must reach the general secretary not later than July 25.
Each club registered with the GTTA is entitled to send as many delegates as it desires. However, only one person will be allowed to vote.
Clubs are reminded to ensure their annual subscriptions/affiliation have been paid to the general secretary or treasurer prior to the date of the meeting in an effort to exercise their franchise.
The report of president Anil Nandalall and secretary Munroe as well as the report of the treasurer and the elections of office bearers will be some of the main items on the agenda.
