The National Museum’s fourth annual Taxidermy Summer Camp programme opened yesterday and will run until August 6.
According to a release from the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, the programme is being done in two phases: July 12 – 23 and July 26 – August 6, and caters for 30 students between ages 8 – 12. It will run from 09:00 hrs – 12:00 hrs on weekdays in the Lecture Room of the museum.
Further, the release stated that the course is intended to teach children the role of museums, discuss environmental issues and impart basic museum techniques such as preservation of insects nd animals.
