The Western Tigers Football Club is hosting a summer programme for youth at the West Ruimveldt playfield from Monday.
The camp is targeting youngsters from ages nine to 11 and will be held weekdays from 9am to 11am. The children will be under the guidance of National Coach Kavin Pierce.
Club Secretary Lester Cush said the camp aims at introducing youths in the community to the sport. “We’re looking to motivate the youths in the area, we’ll be teaching them the fundamental aspects of the sport,” he said.
