The police have destroyed some two acres of marijuana plants at Yarrowkabra on the Soesdyke/Linden Highway.
According to a release from the force yesterday, there were approximately 3,000 marijuana plants ranging from three to six feet in height and a nursery with about 5,000 seedlings. Additionally, a camp was found with a hammock, clothing, foodstuff, garden tools and cooking utensils within the dense vegetation. The camp was also destroyed.
No one was arrested in yesterday’s operation, the force said.
