Dear Editor,
We the people of the Essequibo Coast and Pomeroon are very dissatisfied with the speed boat transportation from Supenaam to Parika. We are at the mercy of the rainfall and rough waters as 84 speed boats do not have sheds and only two shed boats operate in the area but with a turn system despite heavy rainfall.
They are other persons who would like to erect sheds on their speed boats but the Maritime Administration has informed them that the Parika/Supenaam Speed Boats Association has to approve and does not want to approve for they are not in favour of sheds.
Mr. Benn please enforce the law now and let’s all have justice.
Yours faithfully,
George Moore
