Four men are in police custody after an unlicensed .38 revolver and three matching rounds were found in a house at Lancaster Village, Corentyne.

Police said in a press release that about 1220 hours on Monday the police carried out a search on the house and recovered the illegal items.

The release added that charges will be laid shortly.
