One man was shot dead tonight on the Plaisance line top and two others were injured in a robbery.
Police at the hospital named the dead man as Anthony Taylor. Troy Collymore is critical after being shot in the head and the other injured person is Clyde Harris.
Witnesses said there was firing from a car at the usual Thursday night lime that occurs at a bar at the junction of the line top and the main road. A robbery had also been committed by the gunmen nearby. The dead person and the injured have been taken to the Georgetown Hospital. The shooting occurred around 9.30 pm.
Up to press time this morning distraught relatives gathered at the Georgetown Hospital. (More later)
