Former national champion Norman Madhoo played unbeaten to capture the Open Singles title at Sunday’s Guyana Darts Association/Granny’s Hangout Bar sponsored tournament at Better Hope.
Madhoo also teamed up with Mark Persaud to secure the Draw Doubles title.
Madhoo disposed of reigning national singles champion Sudesh Fitzgerald 3-1 in the men’s Open singles final.
He had earlier gotten the better of Nicholas Seetaram 2-1 in the semifinals while Fitzgerald prevailed by a similar margin over Vibert Yearwod who ended third.
In the Draw Doubles Fitzgerald and Anil Persaud were the runners-up while Seetaram and Bryan James occupied the third spot.
The Highest Check Out was achieved by Anil Latchman with 120 points.
Cash incentives and trophies were presented to the various winners at the conclusion of the tournament.
