The Colgrain Pool has been out of order for nearly three weeks now after its filter tank was punctured and it is anticipated that the pool will be out of use until next month.
According to Nadira Bacchus, a guard at the pool, the filter was damaged about three weeks ago but the mechanic who was supposed to repair the filter had not shown up.
A sign on the guard outpost yesterday apologised for the inconvenience caused. It also stated that the problem would have been fixed within two weeks time.
According to Bacchus, it is estimated that the pool will be available for use once again by September. Management was out of office when this newspaper sought a comment.
