The Cheddi Jagan Research Centre will commence discussions on The West on Trial and persons are being encouraged to get involved in Guyana’s history when the first two chapters of the book are discussed next Thursday.

A press release from the centre said copies of the book are at the National Library in the reference section. Interested persons are asked to read the first two chapters ahead of Thursday’s event at 5 pm.

The Cheddi Jagan Research Centre houses the collection of documents written by the late President and is dedicated to preserving and promoting his ideas, the release added.
