The Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) will commence a two-week training clinic for its under-13, 15 and 17 cricketers today at the club’s Queenstown ground.
According to coordinator of the clinic, Garvin Nedd, the camp will be focussing on the history of the game, captaincy and leadership.
The facilitators will also work with the participants to improve on the fundamentals of the game.
Nedd stated that some 50 participants are expected at the clinic which will begin at 09:00 hours.
The Under-13 participants’ stint will run from 09:00-12:00 noon while the under-15 and 17 players’ sessions will run from 13:00-16:00 hours daily.
