Dear Editor,
The PPP/C administration needs to enforce the law making the boat operators between Parika and Supenaam put sheds on their vessels. We are at the mercy of these operators, especially when the rain is falling and the water is rough. I have suffered a lot and lost valuable documents.
The boats with sheds need to be given fixed times daily when they could operate, or be given priority when the rains fall. Minister Robeson Benn should use his powers to enforce the requirement that these Parika-Supenaam boats be covered, or else give some priority to the existing shed boats which provide greater comfort for travellers.
