In week two of August 2010, the Lucas Stock Index showed a marginal increase of more than half of one percent. The positive movement came from the gains recorded by DIH and GBTI. The 4.17 percent increase posted by the stocks of DIH is the highest, so far, by any of the manufacturing entities that make up the index. The positive growth recorded by the index helped the LSI to push its gain for the year to 13.64 and to keep its yield at over three times higher than that of the risk-free Treasuries that will mature in August 2010.
