This section of the De Hoop Branch Road, Mahaica is being undermined. During a recent visit to the community, residents complained that Guyana Water Incorporated (GWI) personnel when laying pipes, dug up the road and did not refill the holes. The residents expressed concern that the road was being destroyed. They pointed out that there were several holes which the pipe-laying crew created but did not refill.
