(Go-Jamaica) The Ewarton police are now investigating the circumstances of the shooting death of Special Constable Mickhail Hogarth on Saturday.
Special Constable Hogarth, 20, who was assigned to Harman Barracks, was shot dead at his home at Braham Road in Ewarton, St. Catherine. According to reports from the Ewarton Police about 11:50 a.m., Hogarth and a female companion were at home when explosions were heard. It was later discovered that he had been shot. He was taken to the Linstead Hospital, where he died while undergoing treatment.
His female companion has since been taken into custody for questioning in relation to the incident; her identity is withheld pending further investigations.
