(Trinidad Express) Two teenagers, one a 14-year-old school dropout, and the other, an 18-year-old, were shot dead at a pre-school in St Joseph early Monday morning.
The victims are Paulanaris Persad Kissoon,14, of Coconut Drive, Farm Road, St Joseph, and Hassan Murray, of Farm Road, St Joseph. Relatives of both men believe the victims were in the wrong place and the wrong time.
At the Forensic Science Centre in St James on Monday, where relatives gathered for the autopsy, Kissoon’s mother, Sita, remembered her son as the one who always ensured his family was taken care of.
She said he dropped out of school at a very tender age to support the family when she separated from her husband. She said her family was clueless as to why Kissoon was killed, since he was not known to be involved in criminal activities.
“We really don’t know. I’m hoping that I’d get justice and the police would charge those responsible for this. He’s always here for me. The last thing I remembered was that there was a birthday party in the area, and he brought me home.
