Thirty-year-old Nohar Seenjan, the motorist who was hospitalized following an accident on the East Coast Demerara (ECD) Public Road early Sunday morning, is recovering slowly from the incident.
The DeAbreau Street, Kitty resident remains a patient of the Intensive Care Unit of the Georgetown Public Hospital and relatives noted yesterday, that the man sustained injuries to the head, face and other parts of the body, with the head injuries said to be severe.
Seenjan was returning to the City from the Plaisance, ECD area around 4 am on Sunday, after dropping off a relative who attended the Ne Yo Show when he lost control of the vehicle in the vicinity of Conversation Tree.
The vehicle eventually slammed into a lamp post on the median separating the lanes along the roadway and the victim, who was accompanied by his wife at the time, was rushed to the hospital in an unconscious state. His wife escaped with minor injuries.
The man’s condition was listed as stable yesterday.
