Effective Monday, a new mini-bus zone will be operating in Berbice, the Guyana Police Force’s Traffic Department announced on Tuesday.
According to a police press release, the new route, Number 56 zone has been approved by the relevant authorities. Mini-buses using this new route will operate between Rosignol and New Amsterdam. The terminals for the mini-buses would be at the Rosignol and New Amsterdam Ferry Stellings, the release added.
As a result of this new decision, the Road Service Licence for zone Number 50 mini-buses has been amended to stop at the Rosignol Stelling while that of the Number 63 route has been amended to stop at the New Amsterdam Ferry Stelling.
