An exhibition, themed “Unearthed: Rediscover Guyana through the medium of body art,” was formally opened yesterday at the National Gallery of Art, Castellani House. The presentation was put on by Bravo Arts, which sought to have models use their bodies as canvasses to showcase and bring to life Guyana’s cultural and national resources. The organisers hope that patrons would be encouraged to value our country’s treasures after the visual presentation. In the photo, a model portrays the jaguar, the national animal of Guyana.
