Dear Editor,
I was passing in Hadfield Street the other day and could not help noticing how a part of it had been ‘nice up,’ so to speak, in memory of the late Dr Walter Rodney. I was very impressed, and it occurred to me how come a particular book he wrote is not in the bookstores. That book is How Europe Underdeveloped Africa. Years ago I had the luck of reading 30 pages of it. How come this book is not in the country of his birth, with at least his close friends or the WPA, the party he helped form? I would very much like to buy or borrow a copy.
Yours faithfully,
Wilfred Agard
