The country’s top darts players including national men’s singles champion Sudesh Fitzgerald and former national champion Norman Madhoo will be in action today when Granny’s Hangout Bar, Market Street, Better Hope, stages three darts competitions.
The action commences at 2pm and the tournaments to be contested are a Draw Doubles followed by an Open Doubles and a Singles competition.
Apart from Madhoo and Fitzgerald other players expected to be in action are former national table tennis player Colin France, Anil Latchman and Mark Persaud.
Vinod Lumber& Pawn Shop, Gem’s Mining, Zeco Industrial Workshop and Ideal Food Supplies are among the major sponsors.
Trophies and cash incentives will be up for grabs along with a Food Hamper for the Fastest Games (least amount of darts) in the Open Singles.
Registration commences at 12:30pm and entrance fee per player is $500.
