Clint Duke from the Total fitness Gym out-flexed and out-posed the field of category winners to emerge the winner of the Mr. Guyana overall category at the Guyana Amateur Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation (GABBFF) Championships Sunday night at the National Cultural Centre.
Duke was adjudged winner of the Mr. Guyana overall pose down of the championships, which was titled ‘A Mission of Mega Proportions’, over other category winners, Devon Davis, Marlon Bennet, Clint Duke, Andian Andries and Oswin Jones.
Prior to winning the title, the evening’s top bodybuilder secured the top spot in his own Welterweight category, leaving Alfred Jordon, Dillon Harlequin and Sean Sooklall to take second, third and fourth respectively.
The Bantamweight category was won by Devon Davis, while Travis Peters was adjudged the runner-up. Third place went to Rudolph Blackman and Melroy Grant copped fourth.
Marlon Bennet and Mike Morris placed first and second respectively in the Light-Heavyweight category, while Sherlock Rigby and Ronier Caesar took the third and fourth spots respectively.
Rawle Greene was limited to second place in the Heavyweight category as Oswin Jones carted off the first prize. Dilon Cumberbatch and Andell Cameron placed third and fourth respectively.
Other category winners were Alisha Fortune who took the ladies top ‘Ms. Guyana’ honour and outclassed Kascia Beaton in the Ladies Physique category.
Shawn Sooklall claimed the first prize in the Master’s category and Curtis Mackenzie carted off the top spot in the Men’s Fitness category.
Adrian Andries was the lone competitor in the Light-heavyweight category and carted off the winnings for that category.
