The Department of Social Studies in The School of Education and Humanities at the University of Guyana now offers among its programmes, an Associate Degree in Tourism, a release from the university said yesterday. This represents a change of name in this area of study as the programme is the same as that previously offered as a Diploma in Tourism.
The statement went on to say that the School has re-opened applications to persons who wish to pursue studies in the Associate Degree in Tourism at the Turkeyen Campus. This period of application closes on October 3, 2010, and interested persons may apply online at www.uog.edu.gy
