The Berbice and Demerara under-23 cricketers clash again today for the Leslie Amsterdam lien trophy at the Albion Community ground.
When the two teams met last Friday at the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) for the Colin Wiltshire trophy, a solid unbeaten innings of 87 from Seon Hetmyer, led the Berbicians to victory.
Today the Demerara side will be seeking revenge and to even the score by capturing the second trophy at stake.
Steven Jacobs will take the field today for Demerara since he was unable to play last week due to his arrival from South Africa the night before. Berbice will also add Jonathan Foo and Richard Ramdeen, who also toured with the Amazon Conquerors for the Airtel Champions League.
Meanwhile, the Demerara team is asked to assemble at the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) ground at 06:00 hours for transportation to the Ancient County.
