Two men were shot dead on Campbell Avenue about 8.15 pm tonight, the latest in a series of mysterious shootings.
The shooting occurred near Royal Drive and Campbell Avenue, close to the Redeemer Primary. The two men have been identified as Patrick Goodluck and Godfrey Grootfaam otherwise known as `Mosquito’. One of the dead men had been driving a car and the other was on a bike. They were cornered in the area by another car from which a gunman riddled them with the bullets.
The attack was the latest in several bullet-filled shootings which the police have been unable to solve. Last month five people died in Cummings Lodge after a carload of persons were ambushed by a car filled with gunmen. On Friday, Mark Caesar was shot dead in Charlestown in similar circumstances.
