The Guyana Book Foundation recently donated over 10,000 supplementary reading books to primary and secondary schools as part of its 20th anniversary celebrations. In a press release the foundation said 85 primary and 18 secondary schools in regions five, seven and ten have benefited. The foundation also plans to host a skills training workshop for new library assistants who will manage community libraries at Kamarang, Capoey Lake, Karasabai and Hotoquai.
