At 6 pm today, police released businessman Barry Dataram on his own recognizance after holding him overnight. One of his lawyers Glen Hanoman said that police have given no reason for his detention which occurred on Friday night. According to the lawyer, two van loads of policemen had picked up the businessman near his home.
