The Director of Public Prosecutions has ordered an inquest into the case of Godwin Maxwell who jumped into the Mahaicony River to escape the police.
This was revealed this afternoon by the police. Macwel had appeared that day, August 30, 2010 before the Mahaicony Magistrate’s Court on a tax charge. The case evoked much consternation.
