The Office of the President is inviting bids for the building of Tipperary Hall at Buxton.
The rebuilding of the hall, a historic meeting place in the community which is currently just brick stumps on land overrun by vegetation, was promised by President Bharrat Jagdeo during a recent visit to Buxton.
According to an advertisement which appeared in the October 17 edition of the Guyana Chronicle, the delivery/construction period is nine months. The engineer’s estimate for the construction is $52M.
