David Khan, Suhai Feng and Frankie Farley are on the maximum two points after two rounds of the Guyana Chess Federation Topco Juice sponsored Senior Chess qualifiers at the Keishar’s Sports Club yesterday.
Junior player Feng, one day after placing third in the Closed national Junior Chess Championships which was won by Ron Motilall defeated Glenford Corlette in the first round and Michael Perreira in the second.
David Khan quietly eased past David Calistro and Motilall while Farley’s wins came against Ryan Mc Kay and Rawle Barrow.
Taffin Khan and Raan Motilall ended the day on one and a half points.
Taffin Khan defeated junior player Carlos Petterson but was then held to a draw by Learie Webster while Motilall drew with Loris Nathoo and won against Alex Joseph.
