A 33-year-old man was rushed this afternoon to the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH) after he was stabbed five times about the body.
Sherwin Grant, 33, was still receiving medical attention at the hospital’s Accident and Emergency Unit when this newspaper visited. Grant was reportedly wounded by another man in the vicinity of Croal and Oronoque streets some time after 3.30 this afternoon.
The injured man’s mother, who spoke with this newspaper at the hospital, said that she was yet to ascertain his condition. However, she said that he was being treated and she was not yet aware of the details surrounding his wounding.
