A two-year-old child of El Dorado Village, West Coast Berbice died this morning after a woman who was supposed to drop him off at his playschool forgot and locked him in her car for almost three hours.
Raydain Wilson’s mother, Carlotta Wilson went off to work at the Belladrum Primary School where she is a teacher and reminded the woman to drop the child to his school, a village away.
The woman forgot the child and passed his school. She continued her journey to Rosignol where she does voluntary work, locked the child in her car, and did not remember him until his mother called to enquire where he was.
He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Fort Wellington Hospital.
