Sponsorship is picking up for the much anticipated Caribbean Fury fight card which takes place early next month.
Yesterday at a simple presentation ceremony Giftland Office Max donated $100, 000 to the organisers of Caribbean Fury 2.
In making the donation, Marketing Manager of Giftland, Compton Babb, said the company was on board with the first installment and saw the event as historical for Guyana.
He further encouraged all businesses to get on board and play their part.
On behalf of the Promotion Group, World-rated multi-belt holder and international boxing champion, Leon Moore, thanked the sponsors, and said the group was still short of its huge budget and called on the Government and the private sector for more help.
The Event will be aired by World Leading Sports Network ESPN and the Caribbean Media Corporation.
