The first joint venture between Neal and Massy (Guyana) Ltd and Bounty Farm Ltd saw the commissioning of a new Money Gram outlet at the supermarket’s Water Street branch yesterday.
Neal and Massy CEO Deo Persaud said the opening of the facility served to further strengthen the relationship between the entities.
“I am happy and delighted at Bounty becoming part of the Neal and Massy family,” Persaud said while acknowledging that this type of partnership between the two entities took many years to come to fruition.
“This is a win-win situation for both companies,” he said while noting that the supermarket’s location is convenient for shoppers and persons wanting to send or receive money transfers. Persaud assured customers that they can expect the same great standard and service they receive at the other 45 Money Gram locations in Guyana.
Meanwhile, Managing Director of Bounty Farm Ltd Patrick de Groot said that there are plans for another facility to be opened by December at its Grove location.
The outlet will be opened from 09:00 hrs to 18:00hrs.
Customers were reminded of the ‘Be a Millionaire in the New Year with Money Gram’ promotion which runs until January 9 and gives a lucky customer the chance of winning $1 million.
Other prizes in the promotion are $500,000, $250,000 and five consolation prizes of $50,000.
