A motorcyclist died early this morning after apparently losing control while riding along the East Bank Demerara highway at Houston and slamming into a pole.
Rovin Sooklall, 24, a businessman of Goed Fortuin, West Bank Demerara died at the scene, relatives said. The accident occurred at around 6 am. “When he (was) coming around the turn, like he didn’t bank too hard and he run straight off the road and in the post”, a relative told this newspaper.
Sooklall manages a city store owned by his parents and is survived by his wife and two relatives.
