Dear Editor,
I was shocked to learn of the sudden illness of one of Guyana’s finest sons, my dear friend, Winston Murray.
I wish him a speedy, total recovery.
May Winston, his family, many friends and well-wishers take some comfort from the following words: Working tirelessly for his countrymen
International stature long acclaimed
Non-tolerance for inefficiency, corruption and dotishness
Standing resolute for Guyana’s good name
Tenacious in Parliament but respectful of colleagues
Opulence dodged despite aspiration for highest office
Noble ideals must now include priority of good health
