Anderson, of S.S. Onion Field, LBI, was nervous but moved quickly along the aisles of the NS Mattai Supermarket on Water Street in her allotted sixty seconds. She filled her baskets with tins of milk and buckets of Breeze soap powder, among other items.
Five other persons were part of the spree including Anderson’s sister, Nicole Rodrigues who won $64,594 in groceries in 30 seconds. Karen Agrippa in her 20 seconds snared $53,974; Karen School in 70 seconds had $89,031; Rozana Ramdat in 45 seconds won groceries totalling $68,899 while Marilyn Griffith was able to garner $41,482 in items in 25 seconds.
To be eligible for the 2010 Breeze Power Spree, customers have to submit two empty Breeze packets (any size or type) along with their name, address and telephone number in an envelope at entry boxes located in leading supermarkets and Courts branches countrywide. The final draw in the promotion will be held next month.
