The Harris Group of Companies yesterday held a one-day seminar on paint dynamics and the language of colours with its staff, dealers and contractors as it prepares to launch a series of new technology to aid in the selection of the right colours by customers.
Luke Ticknor, Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at the company explained that the seminars are a regular feature of the company and are held in other Caribbean states where Harris paints are sold. The aim of the seminar is to educate especially staff and dealers of the paint about the new technology that will is to be launched.
One aspect of the technology is the Quick Match Pro a device which matches a customer’s colour of choice to what the company has in stock, Ticknor explained. According to Ticknor, the device also recommends other colours that can act as accents.
