Residents of Pattensen, Turkeyen, East Coast Demerara were this afternoon startled following the grim discovery of the lifeless body of a 71-year old man, described as an alcoholic.
Around 5 pm yesterday, a passer-by noticed the body of Mohabir Jaikarran, known as ‘Tucky’, lying on the ground outside a shop obliquely opposite the Caricom Secretariat and subsequently raised an alarm. When Stabroek News arrived on the scene, police conducted investigations as his particulars were being ascertained.
