Guyana is donating $20M each to St Lucia and St Vincent and the Grenadines to help in infrastructure restoration in the aftermath of Tropical Storm Thomas which struck last month.
A release today from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that in separate messages to his Caricom colleagues, President Bharrat Jagdeo conveyed his sympathies to the governments and people of the two islands.
The statement added that Guyana hopes that the international community responds to the calls of the two Caricom countries for help to return to a state of normalcy.
