Dear Editor,
I have been a resident of Victoria Village, East Coast Demerara for the past forty years, residing at Lot 407 Victoria Middle Walk Dam which is my own property.
I have used the services of GPL formerly GEC for thirty years and have been paying my bill promptly.
I have a problem with my service line which has been there for thirty-one years. I reported the fault to the outpost over two months ago and was told to report it to Sophia, which I did. I was promised that they would fix it but they never came. I went to the outpost which is located a mere three hundred metres away; promises, promises were made but they never came. What should I do?
They came, changed the meter but not the line which is so bad that sometimes there is constant low-voltage to my property. I am penning this letter so that someone will do something before something drastically goes wrong.
Yours faithfully,
George Bobb
