Police said yesterday that a team of ranks from police headquarters has been dispatched to the area to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting of 42-year-old Brian Benn. According to a press release, investigations have so far revealed that Benn was in his camp, when he was attacked by a man armed with a firearm, during which he was shot. He was later air-dashed to the city.
The matter was reported to the police on Saturday, the release added.
