The Guyana Defence Force has congratulated three soldiers who recently graduated from medical training.
A release from the army yesterday said that the soldiers add to a list of trained successful graduates attached to the Medical Corps.
It disclosed that Lance Corporal Geralda Jeffrey graduated as Best Student of the Registered Nursing Programme while Staff Sergeant Marcia Williams and Sergeant Verda Cordis were also successful at the Nursing Assistant Programme at the Guyana School of Nursing.
The army added that Jeffrey continues to do herself and the Force proud, dating back to 2001 when as a work study student at the Medical Corps, her outstanding performance caught the attention of her supervisors.
