A man is in police custody after cocaine was allegedly found in his possession during a search operation at Lima, Essequibo Coast yesterday.
According to a police statement, around 1:15pm, police conducted searches on three homes on the Essequibo Coast. During the search of one of the houses, a man was found in possession of 29 ¾ grams of cocaine.
Charges will be made shortly, police added.
