The Muslim Youth Organization (MYO) of Guyana will get the ball rolling early in the New Year when they bowl off their Inter-Jamaat Tapeball round robin cricket competition.
The competition, which is sponsored by The Trophy Stall in Bourda Market, is scheduled to start on January 1 at the MYO ground, Woolford Avenue, Thomas Lands, Georgetown.
According to a press release from the MYO, registration fee is $2,000 per team and registration closes on December 25.
Lots of trophies and cash incentives will be at stake.
All Jamaats interested in participating in the competition are being asked to send at least one representative to a meeting on December 26 at 1 p.m. at the MYO, Woolford Avenue ground to discuss the rules and regulations of the competition.
