A 57-year-old businessman became the latest victim of armed robbery when he was held up in front of his business place on Monday evening.
Clifford Zammett of Sparendaam Squatting Area was assaulted about his body with a firearm by three men around 8.15 pm on Monday. According to a police release only one of the robbers was armed with a gun.
During the incident, the men took away a laptop computer, a magic jack and an iPod along with $4,000 from Zammett before making good their escape. Zammett meanwhile was treated for his injuries at a city hospital and sent away.
