The 2010 Women’s World Chess Championship is being held at Hatay, Turkey and ends today. It is a 64-player knockout tournament, with two-game mini-matches qualifying a player for the next round, until the final and sixth round, which is a four-game match to determine the champion. 
Chinese chess sensation Hou Yifan met with India’s Humpy Koneru. Hou won the game and marched to the semi-finals of the championship.
