Georgetown Amateur Basketball Association (GABA) president Trevor Rose said elections are the first priority on the agenda at the AGM set for this week.
In a telephone interview with Stabroek Sport yesterday Rose said a date has not been set for the elections which are held biennially, but the executives will meet “before the week is out” and a date for the AGM will be determined then. He said he spoke to GABA secretary Robert Cadogan on Tuesday about scheduling the meeting because the executives did not meet over the Christmas season as had been planned.
