Mark Persaud teamed up with Colin France to play unbeaten in the `501’ league tournament held recently at Mark’s Darts Club, 72 Brummell Place, Stabroek.
The win earned the pair a trophy and a cash incentive.
The eventual winners were forced to stave off a late challenge from runners-up Sudesh Fitzgerald and Vijai Basdeo.
They eventually prevailed by a 2-1 margin.
Occupying the third spot was Anil Lachman and Bryan James.
The presentation of prizes was done immediately after the finals by a representative of the sponsor.
A four man team competition was expected to be held last evening at the same venue.
