Vendors from the La Penitence Market

Vendors from the La Penitence Market Vendors from the La Penitence Market continued their peaceful protest yesterday at the Office of the President. The vendors, who are stationed along Saffon Street, continue to maintain that they have no problem being moved but would like assistance. Last week Tuesday the vendors were put on notice that they had to move. To allow for rehabilitation works on the Sussex Street Bridge, about 12 vendors were allotted spots inside the market. Road works are to begin tomorrow.
